Asmita Kastha

At Sloka since 2020

Asmita Kastha graduated with a Master’s degree in Performing Arts (Theatre Arts) from the University of Hyderabad in 2013 with a gold medal in acting specialisation. She has over 10 years of experience as a Drama Teacher at various international schools, and has taught in IB and CBSE curricula. She has participated in various national and international theatre festivals and has also conducted several workshops with children and adults. She has been teaching Drama at Sloka since 2020.

For Asmita, teaching has been a wonderful journey. She finds the constant process of learning and unlearning along with the students quite enthralling. She happened to come across Waldorf education in the year 2020 and decided to explore it, inspired by the concept of instilling life-changing values and principles in children through art.
