Hemanth Basanth

At Sloka since 2006

Hemanth joined Sloka as a Gymnastics and Games teacher after having worked in conventional schools like Rosary Convent, Meridian, HPS and Future Kids. He had been a national level gymnastics player since 1993, but had to stop playing after an injury.

He has taught Grades 1 to 10 in Sloka and loves the freedom the school gives to teachers in planning their lessons. Hemanth has a Diploma in Sports and has specialised in gymnastics. In 2012, while working with Sloka, he was invited to Australia to take up the Advanced Bothmer Course. After completing the course, Bothmer Gymnastics has been a significant part of his lessons for children from Grade 3 upwards.
